We are a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the art of Indian dance among girls and women. With training in Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, Semi-Classical, and Folk, we offer a joyful journey where culture meets creativity. Founded by Guru Nithya Prakasam, who brings over 18+ years of experience in teaching dance. our academy provides in-person, hybrid, and online classes for students of all ages. Beyond steps and rhythm, we focus on building confidence, discipline, and expression. At Dazzling Angels, every dancer shines with grace, strength, and individuality—becoming true cultural ambassadors through the beauty of dance.
Bharatanatyam is one of the eight forms of Indian Classical Dance native to South India. Bharatanatyam was originally used as a form of worship in temples. The Bharatanatyam dancer is dressed in a colorful sari, adorned with jewelry and presents a dance synchronized with Indian classical music. The footwork, body language, postures, musical notes, the tones of the vocalist, aesthetics and costumes integrate to express and communicate the underlying text.
Bollywood Dance is a vibrant and high-energy dance form inspired by Indian cinema. It beautifully blends classical Indian movements with folk, hip-hop, contemporary, and modern styles, making it expressive, fun, and entertaining. At The Dazzling Angels Dance Academy, our Bollywood dance sessions are designed for girls and women to build confidence, fitness, and rhythm while enjoying the charm of Bollywood music.
At The Dazzling Angels Dance Academy, our Folk Dance sessions are crafted especially for girls and women to experience the joy of movement, rhythm, and storytelling through dance. These classes not only help improve stamina, coordination, and fitness but also instill a deep connection to India’s traditions. With colorful music and lively choreography, every session feels like a festive celebration!
Nithya Prakasam
Founder & Artistic Director – Dazzling Angels Dance Academy
18+ years of experience teaching dance in India, UK, USA.
Trained in Bharatanatyam under Guru Smt. Latha Ramanathan from the age of five.
Accomplished in Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, and Folk Dance as performer, teacher, and choreographer.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Homoeopathy from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India, a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga, and a Diploma in Choreography (UK). Her deep-rooted passion for dance inspired her to pursue it as a full-time career, establishing herself as a dedicated choreographer and teacher.
Former dance school director in the UK and Examiner at Oriental International Board of Fine Arts, London.
Member of the International Dance Council, UNESCO.
